Favorite Products to Repurchase! ♡

As the title says this post is all about products that I love to use over and over again! I spend my hard-earned money on various products and sometimes (more often than not actually..) they don't work out for me or they don't work enough! However, the few products that do work out for me I treasure and I just wanted to share that with you all today! So here we go!~

I adore the NYX Micro Brow Pencil (Espresso is my color!)! It's meant to be a dupe of the Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil (which I have used before and loved, but it was really pricey :s) and I think it delivers quite well! I've tried their brow pomade (which is also meant to be a dupe of Anastasia's pomade, again which I have used and liked well enough!) but I very much prefer this pencil! It's around $10 and lasts a pretty long while with daily use! I normally get my pencils from Ulta when they're in stock and they usually have a buy 1 get one 50% off promotion going on! I've repurchased this like 4-5 times already so I've used it for a while and I highly recommend this :>!

If there's one thing I love about makeup it's definitely eyeliner! I've gone from kohl pencils (ugh I cringe remembering my dull, round eyeliner ends) in high school to gel pomades (wonderful for a while but I've grown out of these) to felt liquid tip liners! I find with practice you can learn how to use felt tip liners with ease and I recommend the L'oreal Infallible The Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner and Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner! I don't really have a preference for one over the other but I did find the L'oreal one noticeably darker than the Maybelline! They are very affordable (neither one is over $10) but they aren't water proof! I found them to last a few hours at most, but after that they gave me raccoon eyes (especially when I wore foundation) which I found embarrassing! By my best friend's recommendation I've started using the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner and it certainly lasts for a long time without drifting (though it's pretty pricey in comparison to these!)

These Epielle face wipes are one of my absolute favorites and range from $1 (for the 30 pack) and $2-2.50 (for the 60 pack). I get them from my local Big Lots and buy them at least 10 at a time when I start running low! I use them to take off all my makeup, before I use my Clarisonic, or if I just feel like my face needs a quick clean! I recommend trying these out if you have a store nearby that carries them, because the prices online....are ridiculous.

These two items aren't really cheap at all, but I don't mind paying for what works on my skin! I've spoken about both of these products in my Clarisonic Mia review and I definitely recommend them for anyone curious! The Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Cleanser came with my Clarisonic Mia and I love the clean feeling it gives my skin when I use it! The Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator works well for my dry combination skin!! I took the skin quiz on the Clinique site and they recommended this moisturizer for me and I've been using it for months now~ I find that if I use too much my face becomes something like that of an oil spill and if I use too little my face dries up painfully :< and since it's an open jar it's hard to get the amount I need all the time, but I've gotten a bit better at it! The cleanser is $25 and the moisturizer is $39 for the 50 ml jar (which lasts for MONTHS).

I love these eyelashes! I got them originally at the suggestion of a friend on Twitter (thank you Nao, my love!!) and I'm wearing them in the sidebar image on my blog :>! I love the tapered ends on these lashes because when I cut them they can be either for my right or left eye and they're not expensive at all! I have at least 3 back up packs ready for when I run out on the one I'm on now :>!

These lashes were bought on a whim when I wanted to try out more natural, everyday lashes for my small eyes and these 100% fit the bill! They're cheap, fluffy and absolutely wonderful to work with! I loved that the band was clear and thin because it didn't really mess with my sensitive eyes and they looked really adorable on! I would wear these everyday if I had the patience to and I already have 2 back up packs for when I use up the first :>!
I hope you enjoyed this post! I love these products so much I thought sharing them could help someone else out as well! If you have an comments or questions leave the below, my ask.fm, or Twitter!

May Favorites ♡

It feels like May honestly zoomed by...I'm welcoming June with excited and open arms because it's the start of my vacation plans!~ I didn't really have many favorites for this month because I was so busy, but what I did have I enjoyed very much! Please continue reading c:
I know I don't post much about makeup (that will change and hopefully soon!!), but I've had troubles finding a foundation that: 1) matches my skintone and 2) doesn't dry my skin out! I found that this foundation, L'Oreal True Match, met those two criteria and I've been using it for weeks with much success! Some people who have used it say it's comparable to the MAC Foundation, but I can't really say if this is true or not since I've only ever used Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation (which made my skin dry and was a shade too dark for me!) I've worn this to work and I was complimented on how this foundation looked lovely on me and it really made me happy! I do wish that it didn't transfer so easily and the bottle doesn't come with a pump, which I find messy and annoying, but luckily I found a compatible pump on eBay!! I'll be using this foundation for a while!

I went to the library a few weeks ago and Tsukuru Tazaki and his Years of Pilgrimage was one of the books I checked out! It's my first Haruki Murakami novel and I'm quite enjoying it so far! Without giving away spoilers, it's about 20-year old Tsukuru Tazaki (though it goes back and forth between different points of his life) and about how he lost important things/people in his past and how/if he'll overcome it in his future! I know that my little summary doesn't make much sense, but it's all I can say without giving much away!

My next favorite of the month was my American Apparel knockoff denim backpack! I've been taking it with me when I go to work and I hold everything that I need in it! My water bottle, 3DS, book, wallet, keys, etc.! It holds so much and it's not bulky just like the brand name one! It's super durable and I'm glad to use it everyday

Finally, the last favorite of the month was Fire Emblem: Awakening for the Nintendo 3DS!! I got it about a week ago after pushing off playing it for like 2 years (better late than never haha!) and I've been playing it almost non-stop!! Many of my friends have played/are playing this game and were super key factors in me finally taking charge and purchasing it!  (Well, my friends and the demo that I've played about 6 times haha!) I bring either my 3DS or PS Vita with me no matter where I go, but since I've gotten this game I've only brought my 3DS around. I've been loving the characters (I LOVE SO MANY), the story (the plot is so wonderful), and the strategizing!! I already love RPG's but this game makes me appreciate strategy games so much more than I already do! I can't wait to finish this game and replay it all over again, this was a wonderful purchase for the month of May

Thank you so much for reading this post!! I can't wait for June and I hope it goes well for me as well as you!

March Favorites ♡

I haven't written a monthly favorites blog post in almost a year and it really makes me sad, so I'll start doing them again! Here we go!

Here's a picture of everything I really liked this month!

The first thing I liked a lot this month was Lush's Tea Tree Water! I've heard lots of good things about this and finally ordered it early this month! I like to take it with me and spray my face every few hours if it's feeling dry or too oily! I think it works pretty well because after use I feel a lot more refreshed and awake! I'm hoping that it's Tea Tree benefits will help even out my skin tone as well!

My Filofax has been super helpful for me also! I'm really glad I bought this to replace my old planner c: I'm still waiting for things to arrive for me to decorate it further, but there's a sneak peek when you open it and how my monthly pages look!~ I got them (and my weekly pages and expenses pages) custom-made!

I got this 3DSXL case in the middle of February, but I've used it the most this past month! It's really spacious and has 3 slots for games and pouches that I put my other games in. It's really, really cute and easy to just toss in my bag on the go so I really am happy I got it! (From Amazon)

Two manga that I really liked (and got about a week ago) were these two! "what did you eat yesterday?" and "My Neighbor Seki/Tonari no Seki-kun"! They're both published under Vertical, Inc. and they're really good!

"what did you eat yesterday?" is a manga about 2 gay men who are in a relationship and live together! Shiro, is a lawyer who cooks REALLY well from scratch (there are recipes in the manga too!) and his boyfriend Kenji is a hairstylist. It's sort of a slice of life manga and the pace is really easygoing c: I love the characters and I laughed out loud a few times while reading it mainly because of Shiro.

"My Neighbor Seki" is a manga about a girl named Yokoi who sits by a boy named Seki who always plays around in class when the teacher isn't looking! Seki literally does the craziest things in his seat and gets Yokoi interested, but he never gets caught and Yokoi gets in trouble for not paying attention. I really like this manga haha, it's adorable and I pity Yokoi so much! This manga also has a completed anime so I'm planning on watching that!

One of the anime series that I LOVED this past month was Death Parade! It's a psychological 12-episode anime that has a lot of twists and turns! I wanna say lots about it, but that would lead to spoilers so all I'll say is that every episode is tied to a different story, the main characters are so precious, and the stories that you delve into can be mind-boggling! I'd really give it a chance, I was hooked after the first episode! (Also, try to watch the OVA Death Billiards beforehand to get an idea of how the series will be c: it's pretty good too!!!) I cried at the end of this anime, no going to lie.

The next anime that I loved was Gintama! If you haven't heard of it, that's kind of surprising because it's been around for YEARS. I'm glad I finally picked it up though because it's super hilarious and all the characters are big dorks and some have the weirdest quirks about them. It's a shounen and it sometimes talks or parodies other shounen series (JUMP! magazine is in this anime all the time since it's one of Gintoki's, the main character, favorite magazines lol). It always brings a smile to my face to watch an episode and I can't wait to get further into the series~!

Also, Steven Universe is a huge favorite show of mine and I've been a fan for a while, but I'll give it a shoutout to the people who haven't watched it yet or are thinking about it c: It's cute, the music is great, and the stories and characters are so charming! I rewatch old episodes whenever I get the chance and I always have a warm feeling in my chest! (My favorite character is Pearl~)

Thanks so much for reading and please leave a comment, question or any feedback if you have any about this post c: I hope you liked it!
